ANECO is an Italian company with deep roots in water treatment.
Three generations of experience in water treatment
1947 - THE ORIGINS
ANECO's roots date back to 1947, when Guglielmo Scianna founded the family's first electromechanical workshop in Tripoli, giving rise to a solid technical and industrial culture.
1972 - THE MOVE TO ITALY
After the Green Square Revolution, the family moved its operations to Italy, consolidating the know-how developed in the electromechanical sector.
1980 - INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
In the 1980s, operations became established in Rieti. Experience gained in different countries and operational contexts contributed to the development of international know-how.
FROM THE YEARS 1990s – WATER TREATMENT
The company progressively expanded its expertise, specialising in water treatment and drinking water purification through experience gained in the field across various international markets.
2021 – THE BIRTH OF ANECO
ANECO was founded in 2021 as the evolution of an industrial journey developed through various corporate entities, with a more global vision focused on the water, environmental and technological infrastructure sectors.
TODAY
Today, ANECO develops innovative solutions for water treatment and environmental infrastructure. Its headquarters and production facility are located in Ragusa, Sicily.
